We’ve been working with Maverick Media for over an year in this campaign promoting the release of new stacks of trading cards, used to play a game of Pokemon.
Every quarter they release new cards, together with a Main Video and some assets to support. Usually static banners in different formats, introducing the characters/cards.
CONCEPT AND DESIGN
An Evergreen Campaign
Using supplied copy and assets, our idea was to introduce the characters, creating a connection with the customer. The characters would be sitting at a surreal world of ther own, inviting the customer to know more and interact.
New Characters and Assets
Every iteration of this Evergreen campaign would come with a new set of Characters and Key Branding Assets.
Challenges
There were loads of challenges in getting the characters to fit the different formats. We had to do a bit of Imaging as the character frames would come flattened, and surely some bits were missing.
